PROJECTS INTERN (Ref. THAFI01)
Troy House Art Foundation is seeking an intern (projects) to work with art administration staff, artists, and curators to assist with the various art projects. Candidate must be knowledgeable about art administration, marketing, communication, and project management. THAF’s Internship Program 2020 is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students in art-related discipline. Applicants should send resumes and cover letters to Troy House Art Foundation during the application period.
Responsibilities:

To assist in planning, managing and coordinating THAF’s projects and programmes, including public programming, heritage conservation projects and other art activities;

To assist in organizing, managing and supervising of events, exhibitions, and workshops, as well as digital media activities;

To assist in social media marketing, as well as preparing exhibition and marketing materials;
-
To assist in the management and research of museum’s collections and related exhibition projects; and
-
To assist in the translation, research, copywriting, editing and other administrative works of THAF.
Requirements:

Studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Fine Arts, Performing Art, Art Administration, or related subjects;

Excellent command of written and spoken English, Chinese Language skills would be desirable but not essential;

Have passion to work in art sector, preference will be given to a candidate who wish to work in museums, galleries or art institutions;

Be proficient in Mac Operating system and Microsoft office;

Have knowledge in social media marketing, and be proficient in using online media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram) and electronic devices;

Be devoted, self-motivated, creative, detail-minded, efficient and well-organization with good communication skills; and

Able to work independently and systematically.
